These videos were created with results of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses. The software used for CFD simulation was Flow-3D. The videos were made by Windows Live Movie Maker using images exported from post processor of Flow-3D.
The Rollover Pass Bridge was severely damaged during Hurricane Ike. The bridge had five spans, each consisted of eighteen parallel box beams. This simulation was performed using wave and storm surge conditions at 1am (CDT) on Sep. 13,2008. Wave height was 4.35m, wave period was 7.9 sec.
